Did you notice that M. Devlin of Rational is a listed witness for MSFT in its little suit with DOJ and the states? Should be interesting.

We must pressume they have, since they already had the product installed in its computers, and they got a quote for a new license from somewhere... Eventually a nice person from the Rational organization got in touch with my CS friends. There is such a thing as SEED. It remains unclear why the salesman did not mention it (undertrained? going for the commission, perhaps?). At any rate, it seems now that a new generation of programmers-in-training will have access for Rational's wonderful tools, which ought to help.
