Clinton "became" a conservative after the Democrats got their clock cleaned in the 94 midterm election. He has no convictions or ideals. He reads the polls and sets his policies to please the highest numbers. What ever happend to National Health Care?? The same thing will happen to federalized day care if the poll numbers go south. That's why he's so popular. He finds out what everyone wants to hear and says it. The truth or his own perssonal beliefs have nothing to do with it.
