When you left Sante Fe and Hampden pretty much were the edge of town, now the 4-70 beltway extends the sprawl much further to the SE. Douglas county has been one of the fastest growing counties in the US for the last few years. Franktown, Elbert, Elizabeth, Castle Rock....... sprawl.

I left the Denver area back about then, too. Glad to have gotten out.

BUT, there are still some Denver area companies which interest me from an investment prespective!

You can view it in an aerial photo, courtesy of USGS/Terraserver/Microsoft etc. at:

terraserver.microsoft.com

at "find a place on Earth" put in Denver and CO and scan to southeast, find Cherry Creek Dam and zoom in.

Lotsa fun at that site. Find your own house.....
