I really don't care. I look at precedent. If Clinton can lie under oath in a Federal proceeding and use his office to obstruct an investigate and get away with it, we will no longer have a republic.

Gore is toast too. He's up to his neck in illegal fundraising. He's getting his own IC via Reno. Heck, as Moynihan said last week, she stalled for two years. The Dems won't even nominate him.

PAT,

Gore will have his own Independent Council for illegal campaign funds before he ever gets a chance to take the oath. And Sen. Robert Kerry will eat him alive in the primaries in 2000.

And Gore's begins. I assume you are a Republican. Do you really want to run
against an incumbent President in 2000? He may not be as skillful a politician as
Clinton, but he's going to get a big boost from being in office already.

Running against Gore would be a pleasure. He has a lot in common with Dan Quayle, a lot less leadership capacity than Gerald Ford. Besides, the unfortunate event is that he would not survive to run for the next term. Hey if I'm wrong just think, if the Senate vote on impeachment occurs after January, Gore could serve and additional two terms for a total of 10 orgasmic years!<VBG>
