What you are really saying is that you want to let Clinton do whatever he wants to. This will not wash.

As strange as it sounds, if we want to protect our form of government and protect future president from blackmails of the worst kind, we have to oppose the proposed impeachment proceedings if what Starr has shown in his report is all he has to show.

If voters insist on electing people like Clinton, it's best that we assign a special sex investigator from day one, so he *can't* be blackmailed.

Imagine if Monica had been working for a foreign government!

Zeev,

It was my understanding that the oral cavity was at least penetrated....and if i heard correctly on my favorite radio station, Bill refused to finish the deed in her mouth because he "didn't know her well enough to trust her" or at least that is the way i heard it...

I think someone needs to do a serious cost accounting analysis on the cost of this portion of the investigation......what did the other side spend stonewalling? The commander in chief made serious mistakes by not settling the Paula Jones suit, which would have prevented a man with no known propensity for truth from having to be deposed......

As far as entrapping future Presidents with trained "harlets", that seems a bit weak to me.....no offense intended Zeev, but the "brilliance" of this particular individual has been greatly exaggerated. The sooner this chapter of our history passes, the better.

Hi Zeev,

I can see an entrepreneurial soul training armies of "harlets" for the sole end of hiring these out to the opposing party just to "entrap" the next president.

LOL

Now you have a point that I can both laugh with and worry about. However, I think it handelable for future presidents.

The problems in this case are:
1) Monica was an intern in the white house (paid or not is no issue)
2) The average American would not care if Clinton went through a bevy of prostitutes...that would be personal business
3) He would not be in this fix if he had not (allegedly...but begining to appear all too plausable) exposed himself to Paula Jones.
4) He lied to cover it up ... and possibly other illegal actions...always the cover up that gets you.

So the prescription for good political health as a president is as follows:

1) Don't have sex with employees (consentual or not)
2) Follow the 11th commandment "Thou shall not show thy rod to thy staff"
3) Don't lie under oath or obstruct justice

With Humor
