Thats what I think too Pat. Monica may have some self esteem problems... I dont think she is a manipulator exactly, but my sense is the thing that most upsets her about this is the publicity surrounding the investigation - I wonder if she really regrets having an affair with the president. I dont know this, just speculating.

It's betty, not bob, btw. Leaving aside the Clinton "marriage" as a prohibition for BC's relationship with Monica for a moment, her youth compared to BC, is particularly objectionable to me because with it goes a lack of maturity, life experience, and judgement. An honorable man (obviously not BC) would not take advantage of those characteristics in a very young woman and use her for his own personal sexual gratification. bp
