It is at a point of where trend is hard to determine.

Richard, thank you for your help. I would like to understand what it is that you are either seeing or not seeing here that makes it hard to determine as well as I wouldn't hold it on a move below 42, I expect it to make new lows. This wouldn't preclude a move up from here in a market rally, but I think 46.5 should be high for now.

Thanks again.

Could anyone out there suggests the best book(s) for technical analysis. I have a good math background and a fairly good understanding of the basics. A lot of the books I have read don't take into account the technology that is now available to us.

I have looked at the reviews of most of the books on Technical Analysis on Amazon.com but would rather have the opinion of the people on this thread. I have found this thread very informative but would like a very good reference manual.

Thanks to all responses in advance.

Best Regards
KEITH

Richard Estes, As a continuing case study in using technical analysis, could you update your last analysis? RESM has moved in price above the range of your previous analysis.
