Rub it in, ZP <G>. Maybe we're on to something here ...

BTW, for those who recall my puzzlement over removing an
IDE CD (which I couldn't access) and then not
being able to access a SCSI CD in the same way, I believe
it was due to the troubling CD drive being the Audio CD
Player designate in the multimedia configuration.

Something haywire, though I
haven't figured out just what. Anyhow, removing
CD player and backing off audio drivers seems to have
eliminated that problem, at least for a few days.
Say I with crossed fingers. I can't use Netmeeting
with full duplex sound. Beats blue screens. I'm
almost brave enough (having backed off the drivers)
to restore the CD player. Almost.
