Wildstar,

Yes, I do give Allan Greenspan much of the credit for our fine economy. He, Pres. Clinton & congress have all done their part. Many past Fed Chairman have made major mistakes when it came to raising or lowering interest rates......Allan Greenspan has a fine record in that regard.

As far as Pres. Clinton's accomplishments....one of his most recent victories was enabling the long sought for peace agreement in Ireland....the Republicans have always done the U.K.'s bidding on that subject.

The Clintons are both to be admired & commended for the efforts they have tirelessly made on behalf of the children of our country. Our children are the last ones to ever be considered by the money-hungry capitalists in this nation. If a young person is willing to study & make the grade that's all that should be necessary in order for them to obtain financial aid from their government in order to further their education. An educated person becomes a better citizen and a taxpayer(the "balance the budget" herd should appreciate that).

They have also wisely fostered protection of the environment....here again the short-sighted "profit is all that matters" crowd(read conservative Republicans)have fought their efforts tooth & nail because some CEO's bottom line might suffer if he is unable to lay more concrete wherever he desires.
