Isn't Newt the Republican that divorced his cancer stricken wife while she was in the hospital? Republican's look up to this man. What a role model for the nation! He shares Clinton's definition of adultery so I propose that we appoint a special persecutor to investigate his marriages and his sex life.

Ok I capitulate, Michelle: I posted this on the other thread, slightly improved and modified now here: ------ And what about money? Money is a very personal thing with a lot of people. How much we each make annually, for instance. Yet the IRS demands a full and complete accounting of everyone's personal income each and every year. There's not even a year off to give us a break! But now we know what to do: If we feel that divulging such personal information to duly authorized Federal authorities goes against our beliefs and feelings, then I guess the President is making a good case for us to have the authority to simply tell the IRS that its none of their business! On the line where it says "business income", we'll just put a "0". As in, "I don't remember getting any income." "I did not get income during that time period." When my friend testifies that he did not give me any income, and the court asks me if that is the truth, we can say: "That is the truth". When the U.S. District Court Judge asks me if I had any income whatsoever during this time period, in any way, shape, or form, we can say: "None" When the court asks us what about that little income they have heard about, we can say: "I don't remember being alone with any income. Maybe once or twice, for a minute or so." Then we can go on TV and say: "I want you to listen to me, and listen good, because I want to be firm about it: I never had income with that person, Mr./Mrs. soandso. And I never told anyone to lie about any income, not one time, not ever." We should be wagging our finger into the camera at that point. Hopefully our employees will come out the next morning and state that they believe us fully: "He has said he didn't have any income, and I believe that". Hopefully the media will go and interview people on the street, who will say, "Why don't people just leave him alone. His income is none of our business anyway." And, "The IRS is just out to get him." Then we can feel smug when we put out a press release saying, "The IRS is just out to get us. It's a 'get him no matter what' type of atmosphere. It reeks of partisanship." Thanks, President Clinton. You've truly been a light, a beacon, an example to us all. You've empowered us to push past the limits of where anyone would expect to be stopped. You've shown us the way to throw off these bonds of servitude toward government; a heavy-handed government which demands answers of us and inquires into every facet of our personal life. Yes, thank you Bill!
