Just returned from a 3 week trip to Zimbabawe and Botswana. It was fantastic. We went to several camps and lodges spending 2-3 days at each one. Twice a day we were taken out on safaris by guides trained to find the animals and they were very successful! We saw and photographed so many animals we lost track until our pictures came back. We actually witnessed a lioness stalking and then chasing Cape Buffalo into an ambush.
Besides the animals, which we expected to see, you wouldn't believe how nice the people are! They are very friendly, even ones we met on the streets of Harare or out in the tiny villages. The exchange rate was about 18 Zim dollars to 1US$ and 4 to 1 in Botswana. If you get a chance to go, don't pass it up because it really is a trip of a lifetime. August was a great time since it's their winter and perfect weather. We had A & K set up the trip after we decided where we wanted to go. Most of the information we used for our choices came off the net and some from A & K.
If anyone is interested I can list the places where we stayed and what I'd recommend.

Happy Trails !!!
