What we are teaching our children is that all you have to do to get your political enemies is set up an investigator with an unlimited budget, and then just let them spend, spend, spend until they finally dig up some dirt.

"...indicating that it is OK for the President of the United States to cheat on his wife..."

The (presumably) injured party, Mrs. Clinton, has not been complaining about it, so what gives us the right? We have no knowledge of what kind of understandings they may have. And is it OK that we do not apply the same standards to all politicians? Other presidents who have been alleged to have committed adultery include FDR, Eisenhower, and JFK, and I am sure there are other examples going back through history. This national obsession with sexual purity in the Chief executive is really unprecedented.

" ...on government property"

This is really a cheap shot. If they had gone to his bedroom, it still would have been "on government property".

"It is just pathetic in my opinion."

What's pathetic is that anyone thinks that Paula Jones and Ken Starr had a right to this information in the first place. Her lawsuit was obviously politically motivated, otherwise why wait years for him to get into the White House before filing suit? Do you realize that any one of us could be forced to testify about the most intimate details of our lives by anyone who thought they had grounds for a lawsuit?
