See, these newspaper writers once again fail to understand the Bubba. He is not just anyone you run into on the street. He is THE comeback kid. He is not going to get bogged down by what American people thinks! He will first cajole, charm, threaten, and in general try his best to avoid impeachment proceedings. 'How can the Congress put the American people thru such agony?' There would be a strong voice among Democrats to settle for a censure. If the independent prosecutors keep giving him a bad press, he will fire Janet Reno, and get a new Attorney general to fire these independent prosecutors. 'Enough is enough, no more politics!' If all these measures still don't work, he shall declare a national emergency - due to terrorist threats and right wing militia movement plotting another Oklahoma City tragedy!. And then he can use the vast emergency power of FEMA to bypass the Congress, ignore the supreme court, and then rule the country by executive orders. 'How can we engage in political smearing when the country is in such dire danger?' So resigning? Nah. Impeachment? Never got there. Americans would soon find out what it is like to live under a smiling and jovial dictator. That's Bubba!
