I think biotech stocks do indeed move on the announcements of ensuing clinical trials. It will be very important that they raise money in the right fashion. By this I mean do you have any idea how much dilution the company will end up having? If it's going to be severe then I would want a company much closer to finishing clinical trials. This technology will indeed work. I know this because EXTI is not the only company in this field. I'm trying to remember exactly which biotechs I have previously looked at that are I believe further along in clinical trials. It will probably come to me by morning. Still there is no reason why EXTI can't move higher even on good news for another company. Here are some URL's for those interested in doing more research on EXTI:
