Freeus,
Hi!!!

Re: Yes I read the releases by MD and TM: also isnt it great the recognition that Meredith got, and the "dynamic business" award DELL won (number four of 10 I think) and all the mutual funds buying DELL and and and....

I recently had an interesting phone conversation with someone on this thread whose opinion I value very much....his area is in finance.... although this applies to many of the thread ...it surely doesn't apply to me.....His description of Meredith was what really impressed me...his "circle of friends" in finance think this young CFO is a true superstar..and he talked in great detail of what Tom Meredith was doing to control the financial end of this company....In the course of our conversation I jokingly told him I have trouble relating to anything that doesn't occur on a field a court or mat...I asked him if he was like a young Ted Williams or such..."yes, yes,...that is a good comparison..." Our conversation continued and throughout the discussion we were mentioning the visions of how we see each of the four playing out some of the potential scenarios for the future...both of us agreed that we find it quite unique to have such young talent with an even "younger" Mort Topfer watching over this vibrant group....We both agreed that when history settles the business model of Dell will be something all can point to with regards to why Dell stole the market...but, it is people that makes things successful...I invested because of both....But, fell in love with this stock because of how this management ran this concept.

Best, kemble
