I dunno.

I just remembered that Janits and I talked about the book many months ago. Gore Vidal is the source, for good or bad.

Gracie's transient whimsey left an indelible footprint: "But is Heynmann a well-respected biographer, really, or a sensationalist?"

Could not one be both????

Donning the hat and cloak of total skeptic for a moment. (well worn)

I do not think myself to be a great thinker....but if others think that I am, is the fault mine for not making my ignorance more clear, or theirs for admiring hints that it exists?????

Is the line between fact and fiction 3 dimensional, or a void into which either side will be sucked if it is approached?????

It's all bullshit really, but it *sounds* interestingly enough like truth to pass in a blizzard. We live in a blizzard....an abundance of white noise drowns out details that are not only important, but critical to understanding anything other than our own lack of understanding.

and so on....
