Richard,

And I saw a European couple interviewed today who said that Europeans think that Ken Starr must be some kind of pervert. I have heard from someone living in Japan that the press there are still trying to figure out why a political leader having an extramarital affair is a problem.

Interesting. I have heard a different story from my contacts in Australia, Asia and Europe.

The common response is they cant believe he lied under oath. They could care less, as I do about the sex, but they cant understand why the president lied. Besides if the premise is the sex is no big deal then why would you lie under oath about it? I guess I am confused.

Interesting. Most Europeans I know are more open to sexuality in a cultural sense eg. magazine, commercials, etc. than people in the US. Why would they think Ken Starr is the pervert? Wouldnt the person perpetrating the sexual "relationship" be considered the pervert?

Personal responsibility ceases to exist in the US like it used to. Shoot the messenger. What a non sequitur.

Give me a break.
