Ed

The thousands of ceo's should resign if they had sex in the work place. Many did take advantage of their position and should be fired. We have many capable people who can replace them. imo John

Sorry Bill/Ed,
Lying under oath in a sexual harassment case, and to the people who elected you is not a private matter. Had you/he been honest, and admitted the affair, all those nasty "private details" won't have to come out, now would they? The American public can't wait for November, although I'm sure many democrats can. I can remember many people considering Nixon a saint just when he was getting tossed out on his ear, too. I was laughing at them back then, too.
Kent

>>Since this is a private affair

Don't be so foolish. Serial perjury in a Federal criminal investigation and before a Federal grand jury by a president is not in any way a private affair.

No, it is a serious, impeachable offense. It should be fun seeing if any Senator tries to maintain the opposite.

>> This is just Clinton's private affairs, I do not think COngress has the right to decide whether to release Starr's report to public or not. <<

I'm sorry, but you are wrong here. The law is specific that Clinton has no say in the matter.

The real problem with your statements are that it is about sex. That is not the case. If it were, I'd agree with you. The report specifically documents a cronology of perjury and obstruction of justice. If the evidence stands, then he should go.

I was a supporter until the obstruction and perjury. Sex is private, lying under oath is a crime. The president should not be held above the law.
