Fascinating. Thanks for posting it. I wanted to upgrade my PB from 3400c/240 to a G3 or G4, but you even made me think about waiting for a display that much better. Though there's no reason to assume AAPL will do it, is there?

There's another company I've been tracking for awhile...
Cambridge Display Technology. They've come up with a
completely different angle on flat panel displays. They
use light-emitting plastic!! This technology is just
getting off the ground, but it has numerous advantages
over conventional LCDs...

Thanks for bringing this up Ryan. I've been following this company for about 6 months. We're planning on using LEPs for our WorldBoard "sunglasses".It solves a variety of problems re augmented, "see-through" displays -- and since the active materials can be inexpensively deposited on the substrate with an inkjet process... well I can's get into specifics. Suffice to say, this is a verycool technology.
