Thomas,

When comparing the Nixon debacle's effect on the markets to Clinton's be sure to remember that in 74 there was an OPEC boycott and price controls. The "supertanker" economy we have now is not going to be harmed because of the small splash caused when we throw this sleaze ball overboard.

Thomas, I honesty think this is a very unique situation which could go either way market wise. If rates continue to drop, and especially if the Fed intercedes. We could see the market rally quite a bit.

My instinct tells me we are still in a year of strong volatility, which in the end will be a flat year for the overall market.
