Jim, LOL, I guess it's just semantics...backlogged announcements could mean a backlog of announcements or an announcement of a backlog. I took it to mean the latter because the post referred to good news. I guess he should have phrased it more clearly.

Jim, Are you familiar with VLSI's Velocity product? I copied the following two links from Yahoo. techweb.com techweb.com As I posted on Yahoo, I think it is imperative that VLSI make this product work with other manufacturer's silicon or it will just be a niche product that they only sell to integrators of VLSI chips instead of something bigger that has broad industry acceptance. Do you have an opinion on this? I don't have a good enough understanding of the technology behind Velocity or VLSI's silicon to figure out how hard it would be to make the product work with other vendor's silicon. Do you know how hard it would be to do this? Do technology or marketing issues pose the biggest threat to accomplishing this? Thanks, Dan
