Lars,

Please add to your question:

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO A REGULAR CITIZEN LYING UNDER OATH ABOUT WHAT HE DID IN THE WORKPLACE WITH AN EMPLOYEE UNDER HIS CONTROL?

Lars, my suggestion is not to argue with partisans like Mr. Palm. He has his mind made up; it's not Bill's fault, it's everyone else's fault. It's just a Republican conspiracy. To lie under oath is OK.

Who knows if that is really Mr. Palm's opinion, or if he is just dreaming up excuses to defend the one in power. Regardless of his motive, you will never get him to acknowledge that the one in power is a liar, a cheat, or a perjurer.

Best wishes,

I2

"WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF A REGULAR CITIZEN, NOT THE PRESIDENT, WERE CAUGHT LYING UNDER OATH IN A CIVIL OR FEDERAL CASE?"

Lars, your Caps-Lock is stuck. <g>

One thing for sure would not have happened: he or she would not have had a virtual army of investigators and millions of dollars used to try to prove it.

And, oh by the way, if a regular citizen were forced to testify about their sex life, I would be objecting just as strongly. In fact, that is part of what I am complaining about: if it can be done to the President, it can be done to any of us.
