Thomas, perhaps you inadvertently hit the nail on the head when you said These are not commodity ... products. Perhaps that is the problem. Maybe we are in a situation where there is such uncertainty about standards and interoperability that companies are chary. Maybe Ciena's products will really take off when they become commodities.
