i would have to disagree, cassettes degrade after use and dry out (after a long time) this cannot happen with an MP3...

I use MP3s all the time and rip my own sometimes...I cannot tell the difference in sound between an MP3 & CD ....

Also CDs skip even with the bogus ESP (Electronic Shock Protection)
that never seems to work..... MP3s WON'T SKIP!

a portable MP3 diskman????? I cannot wait to go jogging with this puppy!!! :-)
