To Lazarre: You can't possibly be serious. :-) In any event, the leadership of the Q has minded its political P's and Q's to a remarkable extent. The range of political support for the Q ranges from Al Gore's direct personal intervention during the probs in Russia, through Gen'l Brent Scowcroft on the Q board, to Tero's rants re what he sees as stone age southern politicians helping the Q. Remarkable. Has our President established a similar broad range of support ever? No way would any person with a modicum of smarts suggest that this particular President be the Q's CEO. Absurd. Chaz PS Re the President's record as to what he has actually done that has been helpful to the economy, curious what that might be - raise taxes, impose anti business regulations, prevent returning money to the taxpayer - what? But sadly this opens up just another diversion on this board. Is there anyway at all to return the discussion to the Q? Help! Perhaps a separate political board similar to that for Loral on SI? What can be done to avoid the clutter - including this clutter? :-) Chaz

Maybee there will be a book published called "barbarian Interns at the gate" signifying the end of the GO GO 90's. On a serious note Bill Clinton has done nothing. That is what made him a good president. Th US government is a complete joke. The senior senators and members of congress are all leaving office because of the stupid political infighting that has paralized are great nation. I only care of the Financial market implication of Cigargate, for this reason I think its in everyones best interest for Clinton to step aside. I think that this investigation was mean spirited and singly focused on destroying Bill Clinton. I think what Bill did was unacceptable, however the fact that the 40 Million dollar investigation only discovered an extramarital affair is laughable. I would bet if you spent 40 million dollars investigating anyone you could find somthing to discredit them.
As a republican for 15 years, having raised money and been involved in grass roots Republican forums, I am as disgusted with the Republicans as I am with SlickWilly. I frankly will vote against any incubent come
next elections.
