I have lost several, and I can't figure out how this happened. I wonder if it may have anything to do with some new software I downloaded and installed. This software makes web browsing much faster because it looks forward and caches the links while you are still reading the first one. It moved me around SI much faster than ever before....except that I noticed my "new messages" number would not clear after I had read the messages in my inbox, not did the the "new messages" number in red clear from my bookmarks after I had gone to that thread and read them all.
