What is "special" about ICDN?

With tons of mining stocks to choose from, what is special about IDCN?

Simple: the BUY-OUT ISSUE. It started this board. It got everyone excited, including myself. 90% of the people on this board would not have money right now in this stock if the BUY-OUT issue never existed.

So, let's take a look at this ISSUE, rose-colored glasses and all and assume the following:

The buy-out offer was real. No bull. .037 cents a share. CMI totally on the level, an honest, legal offer to purchase from a company with deep pockets.

Everyone jumped on board. How could you lose with a stock at .09 when, in just a short amount of time, you are going to make a tidy profit? Surely, this stock can't go down; this would not make sense.

After all, even if the offer is rejected, the stock must be worth a lot more since SOMEONE believes it's worth "4-5" times that price.

Now (PLEASE!!) - take off those same spectacles for just a moment and read the following OBJECTIVELY!!

1) IDCN's "we accept (where SO MANY jumped on board) -- no, we take it back - we decline" misled the small investor, but ESPECIALLY CMI who was "dealing in good faith" - see above.

2) CMI or any other possible buyer/JR see IDCN as untrustworthy - after all, CMI had a huge sack of cash and a "yes" from IDCN. The
"we need an OK from the stockholders first" -- announced after the "yes" was bull. No one voted, your "vote" would not have counted anyway.

3) IDCN's credibility is trashed.

4) Other "buyers" have many other options and won't shop ICDN, for fear they will be treated in the same manner.

Take away the "past offer" and "future offers" and you have what IDCN is now. Just a small, unproven, small mining/property/land.

Many other companies are just as good out there, and they DO HAVE buyers in the wings.

If you want to go the distance with IDCN, do so because you believe in OTHER reasons to hold this stock - not a present or short-term "buy-out."

IMHO

The Financial Post
Jittery markets are prompting more companies to tell regulators they plan to buy back some of their stock, but many never follow through on their announcements.

And those are the big boys:-)
