Hi Dave, >>> What we don't know supports that which we do know!!!<<< I remember our touching briefly on this statement of yours not too long ago, and I remain fascinated by how it leads me to interesting places in my own thinking. >>>Usually, when I think something is a certain way - I get that becoming thing and everything turns over. I must say however that I am still waiting in the case of Clinton. As objective as I try to be - I have always considered him a real scoundrel and so far nothing has happened to surprise me. I'm still waiting - but so far it seems that this man is truly a bad duck.<<< I follow you here. However, I am not waiting for a "better" truth to unfold about President Clinton. He did what he did. The story is what it is. My postings on the subject are not meant to suggest otherwise, or to suggest that what he has done over the years in all these matters is somehow good, or even trifling. My postings have been about the rest of us more than they have been about the president. In part, they have been about our unremitting attack, our apparent need for vengeance, the expressions of a desire for his additional misfortune in his future, and about the exploitation, political, commercial, and personal, of what is basically tragic. They have been about lack of compassion and about the strange, illogical tendency and desire to perform further damage on a life that has already suffered plenty by its own hand. Perhaps these are President Clinton's defining moments. Are they to be ours too? I have only suggested that now that we know what the president has done , maybe we should look at what we are now doing . I know that there is a widely held belief that love probably should not have anything to do with business, politics, and the urgent and practical affairs of everyday life (only with what's left over after these things), but I'll say it anyway: Love will enter immediately into any mind that truly wants it, but it must want it truly- our task is not to seek for love but merely to seek and find all of the barriers within ourselves that we have built against it. Best, Charliss PS......Go HDIE!!! Come to momma!
