Thanks, funk. Sorry if my choice of words was offensive in any way. What I meant was that I can currently get the data into Excel via PCQuote so it's not a general TAL question. I'm glad to know that its an S&P Comstock feed. I'll check with them. I suspect it's purely a matter of getting the right software and permissions in the right place - maybe connecting to the correct server. I can currently start TALNET, which is the DDE thingy, I think, on the computer that's set up for MBLite but it says there is a problem with permissions and MB guy I spoke with could not help me. If any MB Trader client is doing this, would you please let me know. Again, funk, sorry if I sounded surer of my so-called facts than I actually was. peter
