RJN: Though your post claims to talk about what is beautiful in Christianity, it is mostly about Islam! Good effort, for a first effort. Now, see if you can talk about what is beautiful in another religion WITHOUT once mentioning Islam!! And to make it truly an excercise in discipline, chose a religion that is NOT of the book -- say Buddhism, or Hinduism (don't try Taoism yet; you might hurt yourself.) I very much admire your willingness to engage.
