Yes he did say that, but the Alpha is a RISC design and the K7 still has to execute x86 instructions which do not lend themselves directly to s RISC architecture. Nothing is public about the K7 design so no such claims of similarity can be substantiated. Does he have inside info? Who knows. Do I? Who knows? One thing is for sure, my BS is as well documented as his is. EP
