To Gloria: Nope, ain't going to trash those companies. After all I own Lucent and Cisco. :-) Skeptical about the "box makers" like Dell but clearly Dell is the class of the bunch and as for IBM, it is zipping along on well in many areas. But and this is the But, IMO Tellabs is a better bet at this time as a long term (3-5 year) investment because of its superb tack record, strong management, proven ability to absorb other (smaller) companies without undue strain, its cutting edge technologies in both wire and wireless - with cable - fiberglass - just ramping up strongly - and last with the brilliant bid for Ciena - a major plus IMO. 'Nuf. All just IMO and have even be wrong now and then. :-) Chaz
