To Doug: It was a story as I recall on AOL but not entirely sure. The report was that there was a tentative agreement ( Japanese style) that the opposition would not vote to prevent a bail out (terms unclear and not specified) if the LP would take full responsibility - including the full disgrace (suicide if necessary (?) - hope not that drastic) - of failure - if there was failure. Just saw this one report and a bucket of salt necessary of course but a "consensus" may be emerging. But as usual remains to be seen if this actually happens. The report claimed this was one of the reasons for recent yen strength so might have some credibility - but who knows? Chaz
