Satyr,

Looks as tho' "overkill" by Starr has turned the public off.

However, the Repubs in Congress will most likely push all the way for Impeachment Hearings......hoping to garner more support for their candidates in November.

IMO the results of the upcoming elections will decide the President's fate. If the Demos lose many seats, they will be even more anxious than the other side of the aisle to replace him with V.P. Gore ASAP.

On the other hand, if November proves to be almost a non-event, Pres. Clinton will most likely survive with a harsh censure.

If he does survive, the parents of America should insist that he schedule a special "For Kids Only" T.V. talk with the children of our country. Topic should be "Why It's Important to Tell the Truth." He should be an expert on that subject by now.

Ann

64 percent said the details were inappropriate and 60 percent said Starr included them to embarrass Clinton.

Im very glad to hear people feel that way. OK whats done is done but maybe the politicians will see that this is not appropriate and the public doesnt want this level of dirt on their leaders.
