It's simple for me, I'm disgusted with all of them. Clinton is a pathetic character and I agree with Ike's assessment of Starr. They deserve each other.
This whole affair will give certain individuals in government the opportunity to actually act like statesmen. I believe we will certainly find out if any of those jokers can be statesmen. I have my doubts. Mark Hatfield is gone.

Lee,

Maybe so, but the press was protecting him for a long time. Many people were able to conveniently ignore things that the press would not delve into, expose, or investigate, and so many were able to give Mr. Clinton the benefit of the doubt. Some of these people are now not so content with their choice of leadership..........true colors and all of that.

Wish to add, to me a very important thing about the Starr report is the way it was delivered to the American people......directly, and completely, by way of the internet, uncensured, and with no chance for political manipulation beforehand, although the president's lawyers did try to put sway on it before they even read it themselves. So, as much as I agree with Ike that some of it was written like a tasteless novel, I am glad it was not first digested and delivered, or manipulated, by the press. I salute this achievement of open government, and welcome more news straight from the horse's mouth in the future, and I suppose this is a new thing and they'll get better at it in time.

Regards,

E (......from Arizona....where we voted for Steve Forbes <g!>)
