If you keep repeating this argument over and over again, maybe someone will believe it, even yourself! The reality check that you're denying is coming in November when the GOP stampede comes and tells you what the American people really think....and Clinton will be history because the Democrats will insist! Actually, Clinton is the best thing to ever happen to Republicans. They could never get complete control of Congress until he came along and now he's giving them a filibuster proof Senate, come November, and closer to a 2/3 majority in the house. I could kiss him for what he's done, except that I'm afraid of disease.....

Why didn't Mark Fuhrman get thrown into jail for his obvious
act of perjury? In the OJ case there was clear cut evidence that
he had lied under oath, yet it was ok!

I read the report last Friday and Saturday. From what I can
see, Clinton should be censored, but not impeached. What he did
was very, very, very minor compared to Nixon's use of the
FBI, IRS and his own personal agents to go after his enemies.
(Does anyone remember Kent State?).

I believe the fundamental issue here is that the same group
which poured money into Jennifer Flowers, initiated Whitewater, beat
Travelgate to a pulp, funded Paula Jones and now the Lewinski matter will fund the reelection of their agents.
They will PUSH HARD to keep this matter infront of the American people, taking small matters and pumping them up into impeachable crimes.

There are many more issues at stake here than a President having
an affair with a consenting adult. I believe we should look
beyond the cheap and classless report that special investigator generated (which has made the United States the laughing stock of the civilized world). We should look at this investigation as new and dangerous attempt to redefine the political intiated process.

Regards,

Dougerdad

You are wrong. Most people are still uninformed. They know the Clinton disinformation, which you have swallowed completely. The Clinton team must know that they cannot survive impeachment so they continue their blatant campaign of lies and distortion in the hope that an inflamed public will derail the hearings.

That strategy won't work because the Dem pols will not vote against hearings with elections looming. The hearings will inform the public and they will be shown just how clearly Clinton committed impeachable acts.

Remember, impeachment is not a punishment as the media insists, it is a way of cleansing the nation. If Clinton survives as President, he will have succeeded in his only legacy, further defining deviancy down. I fear for the Republic.
