Ibexx..
I have a favorite coin that works fairly well.<g>>
Interesting fact about SAP- it derived half its revenue from existing customers in 2Q98. This is very profitable business because it doesn't require new software development or lots of additional salespeople.
..A general market comment... This bull was largely propelled by the notion of global developing country growth. Well, much of that is now down the tubes, and the money that has poured into old line global big caps like Coke, P&G etc will need to go elsewhere. Will a lot of it wind up in tech stocks like CSCO and SAP? Many of these tech stocks are enabelers. Computerization IMHO, has been one of the big factors in large cap out-performance. Computers have allowed big companies to get bigger without the corporate arteriosclerosis that occurred in the old days when each size increase needed another layer of management, resulting in ever more sluggish information flow. Big companies can afford better computer systems, and must get them to retain their advantage. It seems to me that this isn't going to change that much even if Indonesia is in the dumps. I would appreciate any comments you have on this, since I have no real world big business experience.
regards
