Most have never seen a mkt in liquidation, let alone an entire planet's equity mkts under liquidation. As levergaed trades are being unwound all around the world, billions of capital are being destroyed. This is signifiacnt in that it hasn't happened since the 20's. I think the mkt is going much lower than 6500, the hard part will be not buying for many when they see their beloved stocks fall to levels that they perceive as bargains when historically they are STILL bloated. DELL will see the 30's (MSFT-- 65) on the first leg down of the NDX which I see as IMMINENT.

As for popular? I tried to drop a helpful note and I am trashed. Oh well, this thread is not known for rational behavior. They'll likely lose every dime they own margining down into DELL as it falls, each time thinking they are receiving an even better bargain until suddenly they have no money left and are forced to liquidate, winding up pennyless and bitter. In the end, they will likely blame bears like myself for their misfortune.

good luck to you and steer clear of perceived "bargains" in the US equities mkt.
