To copy the direct link on a site like "Princeton Economics" you cannot copy the address from your browser.

You need to copy the attributes of the graphic item you click on. In most browsers just right click on the graphic and choose copy. This will give you the true direct address to the site you connect with.

The down-side is that these direct link addresses will often be changed over time by the web site publisher.
