michelle: no, the important thing was not that b and h stayed married and the campaign went on, the important thing was that - we now know- he brazenly lied about the affair; he felt no remorse for the woman he injured; despite saying that he was turning around his life, it was all a sham; and finally, the people who said character mattered or at least that clinton didn't have a character worth mattering about were right. it goes without saying that now we don't know if his foreign policy is determined, in part, by how he feels he has to appear to the american people, iraq feels he's a paper tiger and our chief arms inspector feels that we're not doing what we should and he feels the only honorable thing to do is to resign; we don't know what he's promised to china, if anything, in return for campaign donations, which we know he's rec'd, and, finally, we don't know whether to believe him b/c he's a self-confessed liar. that's what's important.
