That's pretty much my problem with him too, plus a few other things. Also, I too am concerned by our crisis concerning standards, in much the same way you are.

My posts have never been a defense of those things about President Clinton that have brought us to this point. I have posted about my viewpoints and musings regarding the other things that I think cannot be avoided about this crisis.
