OT: Arnie, glad I could be the catalyst to bring you and JP back together again for the first time<g>. Soon you two will be meeting each other half way to do lunch (in Bakersfield?).

Some guys throw themselves on the grenade to save the team, I threw myself on the intern right before she blew!!!

Arnie,
Gotta' admit. I sure do envy you your home plate tickets to see Sosa. If he hits any he'll sure earn them as S.D. is still fightin' for top record for playoff advantage. I'll tell you what. I think every team in baseball should contribute to a fund. McGwire and Sosa have meant millions of dollars to every team. Compare average attendance in places like Montreal, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Florida, etc. and compare them to the attendance when either of them was in town. Then add in the percentage off the concessions, parking, etc. and it is staggering.

Nice to see kids walking around with Sosa or McGwire on the back of their shirts rather than "false idols" such as Rodman.

Good Morning Arnie:OT
I could not agree more. Doesn't it seem a little bit of a coincidence
that Ross, drops out the the race, the day Slick Wille,is nominated.
And then gets back in the race, the day the polls show it to close to
call. Looks like the Mafia, always gets what it wants.Same ol same ol.
