bloomberg.com -no much information but at least we might see what "desperation" creates..
still think the Russian meltdown destroyed confidence big time for professional hedgefunds that counted on the tried and true rule(up until now) that governments will bail out all the financial people and continue to shaft the average hardworking citizens..
Can't see how the G7 can restore that confidence but now will have to rely for a refreshing change in fundamentals?
gold and hard assets anybody?
wonder if the s&l hadn't been bailed out by the taxpapers 1 trillion dollars or so..would we have had this bubble..wouldn't money have just gone towards in investing instead of just speculating?
ps. trying to keep my eyes open on how many citizens depend on fixed earning for survival
