To Dave: As you say with the benefit of hindsight (a pretty major benefit, no) the twin actions of selling at 60 and buying at 40 was a winner. I neither won nor lost. But curious how easy that was for you to determine all that 2 years ago? When did you decide when to sell and then when to come back in? Once and just repeat or using charts and TA or what? Also isn't the slight prob exactly as you say at some point selling at 60 may be extremely foolish if the Q moves straight up rapidly from there - a very real possibility in the next time period IMO. What do you do then except scramble back in with a loss - how much of a loss of course depends on your smarts and agility. Anyway, wish you luck - especially with the taxes on your short term capital gains. :-) To each, his own. Chaz
