Hi Dwight E. Karlsen; My guess is that the boring Ken Starr reports get released by the end of the month or so. It is my guess that they will contain accusations of misconduct similar to that performed by Nixon. To me, the Watergate bugging etc., wasn't the nastiest thing that Nixon was associated with. The worst was using the government for political purposes. In particular the FBI. Clinton's abuse of FBI files and the giving of government jobs to silence witnesses (like Lewinski's pentagon job) are the essence of the evilness. On the other hand, I think that those who are found having sex with their subordinates in the office during the work day should be subject to dismissal. Those who make it a habit to show their rod to the staff should be subject to jail. Clearly this is part of Bill's method of "dating". All those women who have accused him of it in the past now look pretty believable. The POTUS is a very sick puppy, and needs help badly. He does not need to be the leader of the greatest nation on earth. I feel sorry for all the parents in the country that now have to explain to their children what the "graphic" (should be "textual") details are all about. But that is not the fault of Starr. Clinton is acting like an escaped prisoner who thinks that by hiding in the sewer he can escape from justice. It is the repugnant duty of Starr to go down into that sewer after Clinton. But it is a duty, and an honorable one, and he is performing his duty. Those people who are defending Clinton by talking about the details in Starr's report are not thinking very clearly. Our government prosecutes the crime of rape despite the fact that salacious details are involved. The same applies to sexual harassment as well as statutory rape cases. The case at hand is one of sexual harassment. Incidentally, the job offers that Lewinski received are clear evidence of preferential treatment to her, and this supports the Paula Jones lawsuit. (I.e. Paula Jones didn't have the most powerful men in the country finding jobs for her.) But in the end, the Lewinski report will only be looked back on as an illustration of how the Clinton regime treats the truth. The Starr report that puts Clinton out of office has not been released yet. If this Friday's report were all, it would be enough. But before congress can act on the Lewinski matter, Clinton will have much worse charges against him. Wait and see, it shouldn't be terribly long. -- Carl
