I think we are getting a new understanding as to why a Federal building got blown up as horrible as that was. If the Federal government gets so overzealous that citizen's rights are getting lost to an intolerable point; it was the Founding Father's themselves that saw that citizens might be forced to fight against an out of control government. I don't want to see that happen or get anywhere near that point. I think the only way to avoid that is to treat people fairly with the institutions of that Federal government. Abuse severe enough could ultimately justify rebellion. We almost had rebellion in the sixties. I think you could make a case that Clinton lied out of a civil disobedience motive. Laws can be unjust, and that Supreme Court ruling to let this stuff happen to a sitting President was bad law.
