Note that this decline Kurlak referred to was a 5 year target, not a one quarter target. Actually, given recent trends, I think that Kurlak is being overly optimistic regarding ASP.

Given that ASP is one thing Intel does not like to talk about, this is a rather subjective call. Historically, Intel's ASP most likely has consistently risen, from about $100 a decade or so ago to about $250 in Q1 97. Since then, ASP has probably declined 20% to around $200 at the end of 2Q.
