Medinah Energy Announces Initiation of Advanced Exploration Program
LAKE ELSINORE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 1998--Medinah Energy, Inc. (OTC-BB:MDIN - news) a junior mining company announced the beginning of an intensive work program to establish drill targets at the Company's Alto De Lepangue property near Santiago, Chile according to Larry Regis, President. The contract was awarded to Geo-Datos of Chile.

The intensive exploration efforts are based on the recent discovery by Medinah's Geologist, Gordon House. House is responsible for identifying a breccia zone of gold and copper. Reports from House indicate the zone has the potential to host a porphyry style copper-gold deposit.

''Specific drill targets as well as size and depth of the potential porphyry are to be determined during this I.P. survey,'' according to House. ''It is my expectation that a multitude of drill targets will be established,'' House said, who is supervising the I.P. survey being conducted by Geo-Datos of Santiago, Chile.

In July, 1998, during House's inspection of the Alto De Plepangue property, he examined a massive area of quartz cemented breccia and confirmed the outcrop as a classic hydrothermal diatreme breccia. Samples indicated high values in gold, copper, silver, zinc and molybdenum.

Medinah also retains extensive property holdings in the Andacollo mining area of Chile adjacent to the operating mine of Dayton Mining Corp [AMEX:DAY - news].
