LG:

You will soon grow weary of the cookie pop-up! It seems almost every site or even page on the net wants to send a cookie! ;)

Hmmm, I wonder if something else has pegged your IP number and is
just pinging you when you click , I get hardly no cookies via
SI..very rare..
I'll hunt up a program that tracks the cookies in a day or two,
also one that records any writes to your disk, I think your problem goes beyond SI.
BTW MY HD light never comes on after
I load, until I'm running tons and tons of stuff. I run 4 browsers
at one time , plus at least 4 other programs, until I save something
to disk, or retrieve a file my HDs never have an access,
Most cookies are rejected, and if a site sends very many I drop it from my book marks.
If SI was doing what you seem to think I'd be out of here in a
heart beat. I have a program that logs every write to my HDs.

It will also remove any thing in the log that I tag.
I put it on because the MS windows install remove programs
thingy is a piece of junk that only half works. It turned out
that this logs every write and it location.
I needed something like this as things can get confusing, as
much junk as I download. So it keeps a data base I can scan
( untill I reset it.)
Often I get going and can't remember were I
put so and so..( I always tend to over do things ) split my drive
into 4 drives trying to sort stuff, but things would still get
lost if I didn't have this logger.
It's a simple shareware I picked up at Two Cows but it
does a good job.
