That MOT announcement does look interesting doesn't it? (Here's a link to it: biz.yahoo.com I'm not techie, but this would certainly be an ideal place to plant a WaveMeter. Since this is the standard for an "architecture" (rather than a specific consumer product), it seems quite possible that the meter could be plugged in -- either now or in the future. An "insertable security module" could be any number of things, I imagine, but it sure has the sound of hardware. "Point-of-deployment" is the phrase that most interests me, because that is the heart of WAVX's model, one of the biggest selling points of the system and one which I don't believe is fully replicated in any other system. I seem to remember that sort of language in interviews with the Spragues or press releases or some such thing, but I'm not sure where.

This is one of those tantalizing possibilities. I won't kill myself if WAVX isn't involved, but it's certainly an appropriate place for it and a reasonable possibility.

To All: For those constantly looking for changes to the Wave Website do me a favor and look at the 'Great Stuff Network" portion. On that page there appears (and here's where I would appreciate some input) to have been some changes. There is a "Wave Commerce - All Things Digital" section which I do not recall seeing before. Anyone else think this is new?

Further, if you continue into this section and explore the "WaveCommerce Technology" portion of the table there are complete descriptions of SMO's, 'Virtual Wavemeter', Wave Enable, Wavemeter, Wave Net and Wave System.

For those newcomers to the board this is an excellant area to peruse to find out more about Wave Systems. For those that have been here a while is this section new or am I going a little nuts like everyone else around here seems to be doing recently?

I think it is a new area and I like the fact that there is a distinction made between a 'virtual wavemeter' and a wavemeter.

Any thoughts?
